A VIDEOGRAPHER
— ABOUT —
MIKE AND VIDEO
Video production entered Mike's career right after college. Having only radio experience, he landed a job running sound during newscasts at the brand new TV station in town, ABC affiliate KDRV-12.
From there, he learned every aspect of video production behind the camera: audio, CG, tape operator, prompter, camera, technical director and director - and between newscasts, commercial editor in the million dollar 1-inch tape editing suite. As a member of the team at Newswatch 12, we took the newscasts to #1 in the ratings, which they have held ever since.
As video editing moved to computers, Mike's ability with video production attracted one local ad agency, who was starting their own video department. Mike's ability to pick up the new technology and run with it made him the choice editor and production manager for several agencies, and eventually led to a full-time adjunct teaching assignment at Southern Oregon University during the early days of multimedia and emerging media development.
In 2007, Mike rejoined the local television scene at the CBS and CW affiliate, KTVL News10, where as promotion manager and creative services director, he and the News10 team made ratings headway against KDRV until 2016. This experience added the bonus marketing background that comes when you work with him!
2016 heralded a new chapter in Mike's career, as he offers his consulting and video production services to small businesses and not-for-profit agencies. Whether it's a fresh commercial, video coverage of your big event, or online video for a variety of purposes, Mike's got the background and experience to give your project a professional look on a reasonable budget.

Home Video
Virtual tours made with photos are OK. If you have a great home and want to attract the best buyers, consider using a video tour instead. Note the attention to lighting, and how a camera in motion provides the feeling of being there and shows the depth of a room. Call or email for a quote!
